今年のPolish Game Awardsは，「サイバーパンク 2077: 仮初めの自由」と，ポーランドのゲーム業界ではレジェンドとされる開発者，アドリアン・フミエラルシュ（Adrian Chmielarz）氏が率いるThe Astronautsによる「Witchfire」が，それぞれ5部門にノミネートされ一騎打ちの格好となった。
そのほかには，Starward Industriesの「The Invincible」が4部門，新鋭Eremite Gamesの「Against the Storm」が3部門にノミネートされている。多くのゲームを輩出し続けるポーランドにしては，受賞作品は少数に絞り込まれた感がある。
海外部門であるBest Foreign Games賞は，Larian Studiosの「Baldur’s Gate 3」が，「Alan Wake 2」「Hogwart Legacy」「Starfield」「ゼルダの伝説 ティアーズ オブ ザ キングダム」という強力な作品群を抑えて受賞を果たした。2023年度のゲーム賞を総なめにし続ける「Baldur’s Gate 3」は，ポーランドにおいても高い評価を獲得しているようだ。

余興としては「歌えるコスプレイヤー」として海外ゲームのファンにはお馴染みの，ワンダーことキャロリン・ワンダー・ムルガラ（Carolin Wønder Mrugala）さんが登場し，その美声を惜しみなく披露してくれた。今回の授賞式でも登壇するやいなや，開発者が一斉に写真を撮り始め，ポーランドでもその人気の高さがうかがえた。
